Flex the Rhythm was made after Livigesh popped the idea to Avantgarde Vak of making an album for No Slack Records back in July of 2024. Avantgarde Vak agreed and got to work and handed over the tracks of [Flex the Rhythm] all mixed and mastered by early December of 2024. Everything in the album was made with the Akai MPC-60MKii. The eerie sounds of sampled strings, sounds of thunder and snow falling describes the 3 consecutive days of the first heavy snowstorm that hit South Korea in early December of 2024. The first track “Life 4 Third Eye” is a great opening to the album and creates the right and stimulating mood for what is to come next.
