These beans come from several smallholder farmers in the Gamoga region of eastern Uganda who process their coffees at the Sironko Coffee Yard. Here, Norman Mukuru, a maestro in coffee processing, meticulously oversees the transformation of cherries into the distinctive Lava Cherry and StratoBerry lots. Ours come specifically from the latter. Extended drying leads into a 24-hour fermentation period to draw out a particularly juicy, fruit-forward profile.
