With the rhythm in control, the propulsive kick drums and hi-hats are left to do the talking, occasionally letting shimmers of astral chords and syncopations lift things into higher regions, all whilst maintaing eyes-down precision.

Mattlack has kept the grit and hands-on feel with this tape, nothing is too polished and the grittyness of the used hardware is only enhanced by the tape-hiss that the cassette provides.
